Paperclip Empire — the Architect at his corkboard of blueprints, strung together with red thread

It starts with one bent paperclip. It does not stop there.

What it is

A shop, a ledger, and a man who will not stop building.

Paperclip Empire is a narrative idle clicker. You open a stationery shop in the 1950s with one bent paperclip and a set of books that barely balance, then automate your way out of it — machines, staff, upgrades, and income that keeps stacking while you're away. Eight volumes carry the business somewhere it was never meant to go, and each one rewrites the floor, the workers, and the man running them. Claudius keeps building. Nobody ever asks him to stop.
